Our wall gets bigger (little by little)

Making Bird Boxes with the Wildlife Trust
 
 
We had 2 sessions of building bird boxes on Saturday (4th June) in the Hut in Whitehall Park, we made 14 Bird Boxes so far with many more given to some of the Local Schools and Local Cub Pack, we also made some Bird Feeders out of Pine Cones smothered in Nutella and covered in Bird Seeds, these were hung in the Cemetery.
Many of the Bird Boxes will be put in to the Cemetery later in the year once the boxes have had time to weather.

Our Dry Stone Wall and Seat takes shape.
 
 The dry stone wall has been started in the new nature garden, the area has been dug ready for the foundations.
The wall is being made by members under the instruction of Mick Walsh.
All of the stone used to make the wall has been taken from within the Cemetery, from the stone edges removed when Headstones were re-erected in Section C and Section B.
We will post more photographs as the project takes shape.
